StratoLauncher IV Water Rocket Launcher for Kids

Our StratoLauncher IV, a water rocket launcher, is available in 3 models: Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate. All models perform the same and can be upgraded to add additional features, with a 125 PSI safety valve to prevent bottle explosions during pressurization.

The Standard model features a plastic quick connector, no pressure gauge, and does not tilt. The Deluxe model has a metal quick connector, an air pressure gauge, and a tilting ball head. The Ultimate model is the same as the Deluxe, plus a Q-connect water fill system made of 4 parts to connect a tank sprayer.

The complete StratoLauncher IV kits enable you to propel a 2-liter plastic (PET*) soda bottle over 350 ft. into the sky, using only water and compressed air from a bicycle pump or air compressor. Three instructional videos are available, covering benefits, assembly, and launch procedure.

The StratoLauncher IV requires only 200 ml or less of water to launch a 2-liter soda bottle, enabling you to carry less water onto the field. It also functions very well with air only. While more water can be used, that will require a rail system or a narrow diameter rocket like an FTC (fluorescent tube cover) rocket.

This versatile nozzle supports 5 different soda bottle sizes (0.5L, 1L 1.25L, 1.5L and 2L) at air pressures as low as 15 PSI up to 120 PSI. It can launch homemade rockets, spliced versions, FTC rockets, gliders, and rocket cars. Although our StratoFins yield the best results, the StratoLauncher IV was designed to enable students and family members to create their own fin and rocket designs that will work merely by screwing on the black nozzle.

Several upgrades are available to enhance your StratoLauncher IV water rocket launcher, including a 10 ft. Hose Extension, 48 in. Rail System, and a 10 ft. Compressor Connect. The Deluxe Upgrade adds a metal quick connector and air pressure gauge, while the Ultimate Upgrade includes the Q-connect water fill system.

The StratoLauncher IV is easy to assemble, with a 125 PSI safety valve. The rocket will not fly straight without an aerodynamic nose cone made from a second soda bottle, and it only requires 1 cup (200 ml) of water. The kit includes the Gen 4 StratoLauncher, StratoFins (screw-on water rocket fins), and a fill funnel.
